Late Winter & Spring OOTD / My Weekend OOTD / Preppy OOTD

I had planned on doing a post on one of my favorite spring outfits, but then Mother Nature decided to snow! With dresses and skirts obviously out of the question, I tried to include spring colors in my outfit while still bundling up for the freezing temperatures. So much for spring break right? I’m doing this post in collaboration with Classy and Clever, so be sure to check out her post here!

When I think of spring, I instantly think of Lilly Pulitzer. As soon as the snow starts to melt, it means it’s time to pull out the beautiful, colorful designs from the back of my closet. But despite the snow, I was determined to incorporate the happiness into my outfit.

My top is the Sarasota Tunic from Lilly Pulitzer in the pattern “Into the Deep.” This pattern is a couple seasons old so you can’t get the exact one anymore, but here is on similar.

I love how this top was designed to tailor in at just the right places which makes it loose without looking boxy. So figure flattering!

The blue and pink sea design screams spring break at the beach which helps me forget about the inch of snow covering the grass right now.

I paired it with my favorite pair of dark wash jeans from American Eagle, to dress weather appropriate and wore my favorite Target brown booties. Fun fact- American Eagle jeans are the only ones that offer sizes to fit my long legs.

Hopefully it’s getting warmer where you live or you have plans to travel for spring break. I’ll just be here in the Midwest waiting out the winter, and hopes that spring weather will be coming soon.

Don’t forget to check out Classy and Clever’s post for more spring outfit inspiration.

Xo,

Sarah
