The thing I was most excited about at school was going through sorority recruitment. I come from a Greek family, and it was an obvious choice to follow in my family’s footsteps. I personally enjoyed recruitment. Yes, it was a long process, but I met so many new people and I loved getting to tour all the sorority houses!
It’s funny how different girls and boys dorm rooms are. Girls spend all summer planning their rooms: coordinating with their roommate, choosing a color scheme, matching bedding, wall art, the works. While boys well, their moms pretty much buy it all.
Dorm rooms can be cold and depressing. The beige cinderblock is about as unwelcoming as you can get. And this little room is yours for the next eight months, so you have to make the most of the space you have.
My long hair is a part of who I am. I’m known as the girl with long brown hair. Recently, I decided to add in some blonder highlights to my hair. But length is something I will not compromise on.

I count down the days until August 1. It’s the day I’m finally able to break open my new Lilly Pulitzer agenda. This will be my fourth year of using a Lilly agenda and I can’t imagine using any other planner.
The best part about back to school shopping is obviously all the cute new school supplies. Now that I’m in college I don’t need as many things as I used to, but a Lilly Pulitzer agenda is always on the list.
