I count down the days until August 1. It’s the day I’m finally able to break open my new Lilly Pulitzer agenda. This will be my fourth year of using a Lilly agenda and I can’t imagine using any other planner.
The best part about back to school shopping is obviously all the cute new school supplies. Now that I’m in college I don’t need as many things as I used to, but a Lilly Pulitzer agenda is always on the list.
I would say I had a positive high school experience. Every summer my family takes a vacation to the beaches of 30A on the Florida panhandle. Complete with white sandy beaches, turquoise water and southern hospitality, it is easily my favorite place to be.

Despite the fact that I saw a back to school commercial yesterday. (Excuse my Walmart, it’s July) It’s still summer! And on this humid, 85 degree day, I’d thought I’d share my outfit with y’all.
Since moving back to Chicago, I hadn’t had the chance to take advantage of the city. But my two best friends came to visit me this weekend, I knew I had to take them downtown. Though I’m now a “local” I still am no city expert. We got lost countless times, my feet were destroyed with blisters, but that didn’t stop us from having a great time.
